This person will be responsible for design and analysis of critical flight structures and mechanism design as well as build efforts for Firestorm's product line. The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with a fast-moving team of peers and engineering leadership to ensure mission-critical hardware is delivered on time and meets demanding technical performance.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in designing mechanical components and subsystems that meet demanding performance, manufacturability, and cost goals. Firestorm Labs is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer (AE) to design and deliver high-performance, mission-specific parts and assemblies using SolidWorks (CAD), working directly with Department of Defense (DoD) customers in a deployed environment This is a hands-on, dynamic engineering role focused on additive manufacturing, reverse engineering, and field-based support using Firestorm’s mobile expeditionary manufacturing capability (MECC). Senior Flight Test Engineer
